The role of the teacher is to deliver, assess and where necessary offer support to learners engaged in Apprenticeship Standards / NVQ Electrical Engineering courses up to level 4, in accordance with the awarding body guidelines. As an Engineering teacher, you will deliver high quality teaching to individuals and groups and assess learners work to meet the standards within the Engineering sector.

The key objectives of the role are to support and work with the MIS Manager to maintain and update computerised details of all participants on ESFA funded programmes to the highest standards of accuracy. To ensure that all computerised and paper-based information on learners/participants for ESFA programmes provides an audit trail. To ensure all learner files and records are fully compliant for external audit purposes. To provide data and information reports as required by Managers.
To carry out teaching, learning and assessment activities across a variety of training programmes including Business Administration and Team Leader Apprenticeships and a small range of related short courses within the business skills sector.
To carry out assessment activities across a variety of training programmes which include Lean Manufacturing Operations apprenticeships.  To participate fully in the planning, development and implementation of the provision. Track learner progress and ensure target success rates are achieved.
To carry out teaching, learning and assessment activities across Supply Chain Practitioner Level 2 and Level 3 apprenticeships.  To participate fully in the planning, development and implementation of the provision. Track learner progress and ensure target success rates are achieved.
To carry out teaching and learning activities across a variety of training programmes which include Lean Manufacturing Operations apprenticeships.  To participate fully in the planning, development and implementation of the provision. Track learner progress and ensure target success rates are achieved.
