Stream on Demand, our strategic partner for online learning, has moved to a new facility on the banks of the River Wear. Previously based at Spire Road, Steam has moved to the Quay West Business Village, just five minutes from the centre of Sunderland, at the end of July 2018.

Quay West Business Village is Sunderland's leading enterprise space. With 100,000 sq. ft. of perfectly located and highly accessible modern business space, it houses many successful local, national and international brands.

The site offers contemporary office buildings of a range of different sizes which is what it made it attractive to Stream. Our building has great potential for the company, with the ability to extend up if need be.

Where Quay West is located is steeped in city history and heritage. It was originally acquired by Austin & Pickersgill in 1845 and became one of the most prominent shipyards in the region in the 1800s and 1900s, buzzing with economic growth. The Village aims to continue that growth in new and modern ways.

Quay West, which is owned by North East property development and investment company, Adderstone Group, and welcomed a raft of new companies over the course of 2017, including; Connect Appointments, Proforecast, We Want Any Car, Car 2 U and Apollo Print Solutions.

Stream were initially attracted to the Village as it offers a great working environment and has easily accessible creative space in stunning surroundings, coupled with access to top-class amenities nearby.

The Business Village itself includes its own catering outlet serving breakfasts and lunches to busy office workers and is minutes away from a wide selection of well-known shops, stores and supermarkets.
