Studying isn’t for everyone, whether it is full time at college or for a degree. If you want to kick start your career path on a different route than studying, then you can achieve professional qualifications and a progressive career with our employer partner at NMUK (Nissan Manufacturing UK) on the Nissan Apprenticeships Scheme.

Nissan offer you exceptional challenges and opportunities, along with the scope to develop your career and contribute to the success of a growing company. Working in a close-knit team, you’ll be in regular contact with people from all functions and at all levels, whichever area of Nissan apprenticeships you join.

Both Nissan and NA College believe in making a strong commitment to your development and training to help you achieve your full potential within the heart of our business. Thanks to this approach many of our previous Apprentices have been able to quickly progress their career and now hold prominent positions within the organisation.

NA College are the main training provider for Nissan's Maintenance Technician, Special Skills Manufacturing Staff and Kaizen Innovation apprenticeships, providing cutting-edge training at our specialist Spire Campus in Washington.

As an apprentice at NMUK you will constantly be supported. You will receive on-the-job development opportunities as well as formal training both on-site and at NA College as part of your Nissan apprenticeships scheme. This training will equip you with the skills, knowledge and confidence to succeed in your apprenticeship and your long-term career.

You will receive an appraisal every 6 months, with the opportunity to discuss your performance and any areas for development. At every appraisal stage you will be awarded a salary increase so long as your performance is on track, meaning you are incentivised to be the best you can be while also helping you focus on areas for improvement.
