The Level 2 Diploma in the Performing Manufacturing Operations qualification is for learners involved in carrying out manufacturing jobs who want to demonstrate knowledge and competence in their working environment.
The qualification will give the learners the opportunity to demonstrate knowledge and competence within their working environment through a range of assessments and underpinning knowledge requirements that meet the qualification standards, ensuring company policies and procedures are being followed.
Learners will demonstrate a range of skills and behaviours that support competence within a manufacturing role. These skills will include the use of:
- Health and Safety
- Communication and problem solving
- Quality control and transferring materials
Complying With Statutory Regulations and Organisational Safety Requirements
Promoting Effective Working Relationships
Contributing to Effective Team Working

Ability to demonstrate the skills and behaviours that support competence within a manufacturing role.
Learners must be employees involved in carrying out Manufacturing duties within the workplace.
