NA College have opened their brand new IoT Smart Factory that will be used as a bridge between employer’s skills demand and training/education. A key objective for all businesses is to meet net zero carbon commitments. Whether you are an employer, an employee or an individual looking to increase your knowledge and understanding  of environmental awareness. This programme will cover 3 areas:

Certificate in Preparation for Working in the Engineering & Manufacturing Industry (CPWEMI)

A programme developed in consultation with employers to provide an insight into the engineering manufacturing environment and an understanding of the importance of sustainability within engineering manufacturing. This programme will provide an opportunity for candidates to demonstrate hand skills that are required to work in an engineering manufacturing environment and solve work problems.

 Carbon Literacy  

An awareness of the carbon dioxide costs and impacts of everyday activities, and the ability and motivation to reduce emissions, on an individual, community and organisational basis. 

Introduction to EV

Providing knowledge of different types of EV / HEV vehicles and the safety requirements needed when isolating the power supply before commencing any work on a vehicle or high voltage battery pack. 

The programme duration is 10 days, and will be a continuous rolling program, the delivery model can be designed to meet individual or business needs and requirements.
