The supply chain warehouse operative apprenticeship provides the foundation knowledge, skills, and experience for the role of Warehouse Operative. Apprentices will gain the knowledge, skills, and behaviours to be able to communicate with a wide range of people and customers and to meet their customers’ expectations by providing a quality service that encourages repeat business.

Apprentices will gain competency in using industry recognised systems and associated services (e.g. Traffic/Warehouse Management Systems) and will be able to work under pressure to tight deadlines.

20% Off the Job Training

Throughout the qualification learners are expected to complete 20% off the job training. Off-the-job training is training received by the learner, during the learner’s paid hours, for the purpose of achieving their apprenticeship.

Off-the-job training must be directly relevant to the apprenticeship standard and teach new knowledge, skills and behaviours required to reach competence in the management sector.
