Who is this course for?
This Level 3 Business Administrator course is for learners aged 16 and above interested in a career in Business Administration in any sector.
What will I learn?
The Business Administrator standard will develop a learner’s knowledge, skills and behaviours that can be applied in all sectors. This may involve working independently or as part of a team and will involve developing, implementing, maintaining and improving administrative services. Business administrators develop key skills and behaviours to support their own progression towards management responsibilities.
Business administrators will support and engage with different parts of their organisation and interact with internal or external customers. With a focus on adding value, the business administrator will contribute to the efficiency of their organisation, through support of functional areas, working across teams and resolving issues as requested.
Delivery Units:
20% Off-the-Job Training
Throughout the qualification learners are expected to complete 20% off-the-job training. Off-the-job training is training received by the learner, during the learner’s paid hours, for the purpose of achieving their apprenticeship. Off-the-job training must be directly relevant to the apprenticeship standard and teach new knowledge, skills and behaviours required to reach competence in the management sector.

End Point Assessment methods will include;

- Portfolio Based Interview
- Project/Improvement Presentation

Learners must be able to secure off-the-job training directly relevant to the apprenticeship standard that teaches new knowledge, skills and behaviours required to reach competence in the management sector.
