Who is this course for?
The Level 3 Supply Chain Practitioner apprenticeship is for learners that want to work in one or more Supply Chain functions.
What will I learn?
This qualification will teach learners the core knowledge, skills and behaviours needed for typical duties such as forecasting customer demand as a Junior Demand Planner, liaising with the factories schedule production as a Junior Supply Planner, processing orders as a Customer Service Operative or working with hauliers and Distribution Centres as an Assistant Transport Planner. Teaching will be carried out to prepare learners for assessment through a range of methods such as:
- Assignments
- Professional discussions
- Witness testimonies
End Point Assessment
- Apprentices will complete an End Point Assessment which will entail:
- Knowledge exam
- Workplace project and presentation of Improvements to the Business
- Professional dialogue and interview
Delivery Units:
20% Off-The-Job Training
Throughout the qualification learners are expected to complete 20% off the job training. Off-the-job training is training received by the learner, during the learner’s paid hours, for the purpose of achieving their apprenticeship. Off-the-job training must be directly relevant to the apprenticeship standard and teach new knowledge, skills and behaviours required to reach competence in the management sector.
